Richard Wilson Obituary-Cause of Death– died: 73, of Elizabethtown, died at home on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Conceived Sunday, March 7, 1948, in McVeytown, PA, he was the child of the late Albert L.”Barney” and Janet L. (Dunmire) Wilson.

Growing up he lived on the grounds of Masonic Village. He was a 1966 alumni of Elizabethtown Area High School where he wrestled, ran track and is an individual from the Wrestling Hall of Fame, High School Athletic Sports Hall of Fame, and the Lancaster-Lebanon Coaching Hall of Fame. In 1970, Richard procured his four-year certification in Mathematics from Elizabethtown College, where he likewise wrestled. He proceeded to educate in the Elizabethtown Area School District, just as a right-hand mentor for EASD wrestling. Richard likewise instructed for the State of Pennsylvania in both Dallas and Camp Hill Prisons. In the wake of resigning, he appreciated sitting in front of the TV and filling in as a clock, score manager and broadcaster for EASD Wrestling. He was a US Army veteran of Vietnam, was an individual from the American Legion, and was an ardent Penn State fan. What he cherished most was investing energy with his family.

Richard has endured two kids: Katie L. Coover and spouse Chris of Elizabethtown, and Jason W. Wilson and spouse Amanda of Bainbridge; four grandkids: Samantha Spelgatti, Declan Brocious, Dayan Brocious and Randy Wilson; two incredible grandkids: T.J. Shaffer and Ava Brocious; two sisters: Sandie Hamilton and Sonya Wilson, and one sibling Rusty Wilson and spouse Beth.

A remembrance administration will happen on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 7:00 PM. Appearance with the family will be from 5:00 PM until the hour of administration. Interment will be private.
