Monster Hunter Rise will feature seamless open-world environments, with areas featuring more verticality than in previous entries. To help you scale the new heights, your character will be equipped with a Wirebug that functions like a grappling hook to fling you around.
You’re accompanied on your hunts by an adorable dog-like character called a Palamute. This furry friend helps you in combat and lets you hop on its back to ride quickly through the game world. In terms of the monsters you’ll encounter, it’s a mix of beasts from previous entries, like Arzuros, as well as new creatures like a giant bird called Aknosom, an amphibious creature called Tetranadon. The new flagship monster this time around is Magnamalo
