Kentucky Roundabout Video – A push to improve traffic stream close to the Bath and Rowan County line hasn’t gone as arranged at this point, as another “small scale traffic circle” has a few drivers battling more than they did previously.
The traffic circle was worked to supplant the US 60-KY 801 four-way crossing point, which the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said was hazardous regardless of best endeavors to make it more secure with notice signs, thunder strips and that’s just the beginning.
“The current four-way-stop crossing point at KY 801 has a background marked by high velocity, T-bone (right point), and different sorts of serious accidents,” the transportation bureau said in an articulation when development on the scaled down indirect began in April.
